This didn’t feel real 🤯 save for a future trip.

We only did the shortest, easiest route and still ended up with views that felt completely unreal. There are definitely longer trails if you’re after more of a walk, but even the quick one takes you straight into this wild glacial valley. It felt like stepping into a frozen moment in time.

There’s parking right off the main road at Ogwen, and the path starts from there which makes it really accessible.

I found out that this was the first place in Wales to be made a National Nature Reserve. Some of the rocks here are over 400 million years old and Darwin even studied this landscape to understand how glaciers shape the land.

Save this if you’re heading to Dublin this year 🇮🇪✨

I spent two days there and this is everything we saw… from iconic pubs and rooftop pints to quiet parks and the best sausage and mash.

You already know I take sausage and mash seriously. It was literally the meal at our wedding. So when I say the one at Doheny & Nesbitt is right at the top of my list, I mean it 😍

One of my favourite parts though? Our room at The Chancery Hotel had a terrace with a hot tub overlooking Dublin Castle. After walking all day, sitting out there in the evening looking over the rooftops was the perfect way to unwind.

Dublin is such an easy city to explore on foot. History, live music drifting out of doorways, colourful streets, little pockets of calm in the middle of it all.

If you’re heading there this year, especially for St Patrick’s Day, this is a great one to save.

$Did you know the UK has rainforests? 🌿 This is one of the UK’s rare temperate rainforests. These rainforests are incredibly rare, covering less than 1 percent of land in the UK and only a tiny fraction of forest types worldwide. I’d wanted to visit one for such a long time, so when I was back in Devon visiting my family I finally made it here and took my mum with me. We had the nicest walk, moving slowly, watching the wildlife and taking in just how green and alive everything felt. Temperate rainforests form because of constant rainfall, mild temperatures and moisture rich air. That steady damp allows mosses, ferns and lichens to grow over everything, not just the forest floor. Many of these rainforests are thousands of years old, developing gradually since the last Ice Age. Only small pockets now remain mainly in the South West, parts of Wales, Northern Ireland, and along the west coast of Scotland.
