This bucket-list hotel didn’t disappoint ᵃᵈ

I’ve wanted to stay at @waltdisneyworld Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for years, so spending a few nights here with Luke on our trip with @britishairwaysholidays was every bit as special as I’d hoped.

The hotel was inspired by the grand Victorian seaside resorts that were popular across America in the late 1800s and early 1900s. I loved all the little Disney details too, from the Mary Poppins-inspired rooms to the Hidden Mickeys tucked into the lobby carpet.

It was lovely having somewhere to relax between busy park days. With two pools, a spa and views across Seven Seas Lagoon, it’s a beautiful place for a bit of downtime.

And the location is brilliant too. Magic Kingdom is just one stop away on the monorail, or you can walk there. You can even book a room with views towards Magic Kingdom’s fireworks.

You don’t have to stay here to experience some of it either. You could book a character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, enjoy afternoon tea or treat yourself to a spa treatment.

If you’re flying with Qatar Airways and connecting through Doha, you can stay in 4 or 5-star hotels at reduced stopover rates for up to four nights.

You just add the stopover when you book your flight. it’s genuinely that simple and such an easy way to turn it into a luxury break without the usual price tag.

So instead of just killing time in an airport, you could be out exploring a new city and staying somewhere really nice while you’re there.

And Doha is such an easy place to do in a couple of days, good food, beautiful architecture, waterfront spots and desert if you want it.

It just feels like a smarter way to travel if you’re already heading that way.

I visited Lucknam Park with my mum, and it was such a special little break together.

Think grand four-poster beds, beautiful historic interiors, 500 acres of countryside and an incredible spa. I even tried their Intuitive Crystal Healing treatment, which was something a little different from my usual spa experiences! ✨

There’s something about the weather getting colder that makes me want to book a spa break immediately 😂

Warm pools, steamy saunas, wrapping up in a robe and properly switching off for a few hours suddenly feels like exactly what I need.

👑 On a clear day, it’s said you can see seven kingdoms from the summit: the Isle of Man, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Heaven and the Sea.
⚙️ Along the way you’ll get views of the Great Laxey Wheel, built in 1854 and still the world’s largest working waterwheel.
🐑 You’ll pass horned sheep grazing across the mountainside too.
