๐Ÿšž The Snaefell Mountain Railway has been running since 1895 and is the only electric mountain railway in the British Isles.
๐Ÿ‘‘ On a clear day, itโ€™s said you can see seven kingdoms from the summit: the Isle of Man, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Heaven and the Sea.
โš™๏ธ Along the way youโ€™ll get views of the Great Laxey Wheel, built in 1854 and still the worldโ€™s largest working waterwheel.
๐Ÿ‘ Youโ€™ll pass horned sheep grazing across the mountainside too.

I definitely wasnโ€™t prepared for just how beautiful it would be. The wild coastline, ridiculously green glens, waterfalls, sea caves, seals swimming just offshoreโ€ฆ I loved every minute of exploring here.

And considering how close it is, I canโ€™t believe I hadnโ€™t been sooner.

What I loved most was how close to nature we felt here. We spent our days exploring waterfalls, green glens and wild coastline, but still had time for sea swims, spa time and watching the sunset beside an ancient Viking castle.

If youโ€™re planning a London Christmas trip this year, SAVE this for your festive itinerary โค๏ธ

Last year I spent the day wandering around central London seeing as many of the Christmas lights and decorations as I could, from the big displays to some of the beautiful shopfronts, arcades and festive pubs โ€” and you can easily fit so many of them into one day!

Most of Londonโ€™s Christmas lights and decorations start appearing throughout November ๐ŸŽ„โœจ If youโ€™re planning a festive trip, Iโ€™d recommend visiting from mid-November onwards to have the best chance of seeing everything, but make sure you check before you visit as decorations and switch-on dates vary by location.
