Luke & I love returning here in winter. There’s something about the hotel’s cosy, homely atmosphere that makes it feel extra special in the colder months.

I’ve also always loved how good being in the mountains makes me feel. The fresh Alpine air, spending time in nature and that lovely contrast of stepping out into the cold before sinking into a heated pool. I always leave feeling so much more relaxed and refreshed.

And there’s a real focus on wellness here, beyond just having a beautiful spa. There are specialist treatments and even dedicated longevity programmes. I’ve had a lymphatic drainage massage, which I found incredibly calming, and a facial with extractions that was brilliant!

We had a room with a balcony overlooking the mountains, and we’ve got our little routine now. Tea and cake at 3pm (always a highlight 🍰), followed by getting dressed up for a lovely multi-course dinner.

There’s also a pretty Alpine village just a short walk away.

A few things worth knowing:

✈️ Around 2 hours from London to Innsbruck
🚗 Just 25 minutes from the airport
🏔️ Around 1,200m up in the Austrian Alps

We all need more moments like this ❤️

Fresh air, beautiful Lake District views and spending time with the friendliest Herdwick sheep. I left feeling so relaxed and with the biggest smile on my face.

And I love the story behind this experience.

It started with a few unusually sociable sheep who loved human company. Friends came to meet them, word spread, and the Herdwick Experience was born! Along the way, they discovered just how calming spending time with the sheep could be.

Today, you can learn about traditional Lake District hill farming before meeting the Herdwick Ambassadors, a flock of naturally friendly sheep kept as much-loved pets who come over for strokes and cuddles.

It’s a lovely way to slow down, connect with nature and learn about the area’s farming heritage. The experience was also a finalist at the 2025 British Farming Awards! 🐑

We all need more moments like this ❤️

Fresh air, beautiful Lake District views and spending time with the friendliest Herdwick sheep. I left feeling so relaxed and with the biggest smile on my face.

Budapest’s Advent Basilica was voted **Europe’s Most Beautiful Christmas Market 2026** by travellers through European Best Destinations ✨

When we visited, I loved how much we could fit into one festive weekend, from wandering the Christmas markets with mulled wine to seeing the city all lit up after dark.

The building itself dates back to 1282, and this eccentric pub was transformed in the 1950s by a couple who wanted to create a drinking experience unlike anywhere else. What started as a two-year project turned into decades of creativity.

Today, it’s a maze of quirky rooms, hidden corners and fascinating curiosities. There’s something unexpected everywhere you look!

It’s still a family-run pub, so if you visit, please support this local business by enjoying a drink or some traditional pub food. ❤️

This bucket-list hotel didn’t disappoint ᵃᵈ

I’ve wanted to stay at @waltdisneyworld Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for years, so spending a few nights here with Luke on our trip with @britishairwaysholidays was every bit as special as I’d hoped.

The hotel was inspired by the grand Victorian seaside resorts that were popular across America in the late 1800s and early 1900s. I loved all the little Disney details too, from the Mary Poppins-inspired rooms to the Hidden Mickeys tucked into the lobby carpet.

It was lovely having somewhere to relax between busy park days. With two pools, a spa and views across Seven Seas Lagoon, it’s a beautiful place for a bit of downtime.

And the location is brilliant too. Magic Kingdom is just one stop away on the monorail, or you can walk there. You can even book a room with views towards Magic Kingdom’s fireworks.

You don’t have to stay here to experience some of it either. You could book a character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, enjoy afternoon tea or treat yourself to a spa treatment.

If you’re flying with Qatar Airways and connecting through Doha, you can stay in 4 or 5-star hotels at reduced stopover rates for up to four nights.

You just add the stopover when you book your flight. it’s genuinely that simple and such an easy way to turn it into a luxury break without the usual price tag.

So instead of just killing time in an airport, you could be out exploring a new city and staying somewhere really nice while you’re there.

And Doha is such an easy place to do in a couple of days, good food, beautiful architecture, waterfront spots and desert if you want it.

It just feels like a smarter way to travel if you’re already heading that way.
